Arson investigators are looking into three fires reported within about an hour Monday evening on Washington’s west side.

Firefighters were first called around 5:15 to a mobile home fire at 307 Cable Avenue. About 45 minutes later, crews responded to another mobile home fire at 512 Vine Street. Then at 6:15, firefighters were dispatched to a fire inside a home under construction on Bent Avenue.

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security and city officials are investigating the causes of the fires.

Anyone with information or who may have seen suspicious activity is asked to contact the Indiana Arson Hotline at 1-800-382-4628. Tips can be made anonymously. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
