PACE Community Action Agency is now accepting applications for its Boys & Beyond Summer Camp program set for June 22-26, 2026, in Vincennes.
The free weeklong camp will run daily from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the PACE main office located at 525 North Fourth Street. Lunch will be provided each day.
Organizers say the Boys & Beyond program has served more than 100 boys since launching in 2015. The camp focuses on leadership development, teamwork, life skills, and relationship-building through activities led by positive male role models. Participants will also learn about financial literacy, technology, health and wellness, and social skills. Incentives are provided throughout the program to reinforce lessons and participation.
Applications are open to boys entering the fourth and fifth grades who live in Daviess, Greene, Knox, and Sullivan counties. There is no cost to participate and no income requirements. Applications must be submitted by May 31.
Transportation will not be provided, although mileage reimbursement may be available for qualifying families.
Tai Blythe said the program benefits both participants and the community by connecting boys with volunteers and a variety of learning opportunities. Blythe noted many participants begin the week shy but leave asking when they can return to volunteer themselves.
Applications and additional information are available through the PACE Community Action Agency website
