A new Zaxbys restaurant is now open in Vincennes. A ribbon cutting was held today to mark the occasion.

Owner Manish Malhotra said his team chose Zaxbys because of its fast-paced chicken concept and strong brand reputation.

“We were looking for something on a fast pace chicken restaurant. Chicken tenders are one of the biggest hits out there. Zaxbys has a great product,” Malhotra said.

His company also owns Wings Etc. in Vincennes, as well as 11 Arby’s locations across Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky.

Malhotra said Vincennes was a natural choice for expansion.

“Vincennes is just a thriving community. There is a lot of growth coming in here,” he said.

He thanked the city and Mayor Joe Yochum for their support in bringing the restaurant to Knox County.

Zaxbys is located on Hart Street next to the Vincennes Township Fire Department.
