The new Aldi store opened this morning without fanfare.

A small group of shoppers waited outside for the 9 a.m. soft opening. The store is located next to Marshalls and Hobby Lobby on Kimmell Road.

An official ribbon cutting is scheduled for Thursday at 8:30 a.m.

The Vincennes location is one of several new Aldi stores opening across Indiana this week.
