Vincennes Police reported Saturday morning that a battery involving a male suspect and a female server occurred at the Ponderosa restaurant.

Officers shared a photo of the man and his truck on social media and asked for the public’s help in identifying him. The department later reported that the individual had been identified and thanked the community for quickly sharing the information.

Police also reminded residents that suspicious activity, traffic violations, and information related to crimes can be reported through the department’s anonymous tip email at crimetips@vincennes.in.gov.

They say public cooperation continues to play a key role in keeping the city safe.
