
A public preview of a new mural and an artist talk are scheduled for this evening in Vincennes.
Art Space Vincennes LLC will host the event featuring a mural created by Fernando Lozano.
The mural, titled “Corn,” highlights Indigenous people, their culture, and industry. It measures 8 feet by 20 feet and is made up of five printed metal panels.
The piece is being created for installation at the downtown Farmer’s Market Pavilion.
The gallery opens at 5:30 p.m., with the artist talk beginning at 6:00 p.m. tonight.
