Various weather advisories were released Monday as storms moved through the area throughout the day and into the night.
The storm caused periods of heavy rainfall and flash flood warnings in certain areas. There have been no reports of any significant events related to the weather.
Meanwhile The Knox County Emergency Management Agency states that they are still working on dealing difficulties surrounding their notification system.
Director John Streeter says the CodeRED notification system, which is now hosted on the Crisis24 platform via OnSolve, has been experiencing performance issues below expectations.
EMA officials said that they have been working with the company, as well as neighboring counties such as Daviess County, on addressing these issues, yet they still have reservations regarding its reliability and timeliness.
Those who would like to unsubscribe from the notification system may do so online, while customer assistance is also available.
The EMA added that they are currently exploring alternative methods of notification and will provide further details regarding the process.
