Bicknell is enforcing its ordinance prohibiting after-hours trash drop-offs at city facilities.
Trash, even with city stickers, must be brought during regular hours—Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.—to prevent mess and animal disturbances.
Bicknell Mayor Thomas Estabrook says residents should place trash curbside by 8 a.m. on their scheduled pickup day or bring it to the street department during working hours.
A trash truck is also available Saturdays at the recycling center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 812-735-2501.
