A Washington, Indiana author is preparing to release the first book in a new children’s series designed to help families navigate complex life experiences.
Christine “Teeny” Davis has announced the launch of The Wish Garden Chronicles, a five-book series focused on topics including medical challenges, disability awareness, emotional resilience, and grief.
The series is based on Davis’s personal experiences and is intended to provide children and families with tools to better understand and talk through difficult situations.
The first book, The Wish Garden, will be released this Thursday on Amazon. Additional titles in the series are expected to roll out through September.
Davis is also the founder of Little Warrior Wishes, a Washington-based nonprofit that supports families with young children facing serious or life-limiting medical conditions by helping create meaningful experiences.
In addition to her writing and nonprofit work, Davis helped lead the creation of the Boundless Blooms Accessible Garden in Washington, a project developed in partnership between Little Warrior Wishes and DSI.
The series is designed for use by families, educators, and healthcare providers as a resource for children facing complex circumstances.
