The Duke Energy Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to VU officials and students.

The funding will go to the university’s Agribusiness and Horticulture Department to enhance education on soil regeneration, a process that restores nutrients and organic matter to improve soil fertility and productivity.

The material will be integrated into courses such as Pasture and Forage Management and Nutrient Management.
