The Seventh Annual Christmas in the park event is back in Lawrenceville.

On December 2nd, folks can come to Lawrenceville City Park to enjoy refreshments and an array of Christmas activities.

That night the Elks Parade of Lights will start venturing through the city of Lawrenceville at 6 pm.

The event, which is organized by the Christmas in the Park Committee, has brought a new addition to the Christmas celebration.

An ice skating rink will be at the park for attendees enjoyment for the first time ever.

Grant McDonald, the Christmas in the Park Committee chairman, spoke with us to describe how the committee collaborated with several organizations in Lawrenceville to bring in the skating rink for this weekend’s event.

The Skating Rink will be open on Saturday from 3-11pm and on Sunday from 2-9 pm and costs $5 per person.
