About Vincennes PBS
Licensed to the Board of Trustees of the Vincennes University, Vincennes PBS is an integral part of the Vincennes University Broadcasting Program. Since 1968, Vincennes PBS has provided trusted programming and services that inspire personal growth, community engagement and a love for learning in people of all ages.
Vincennes PBS has led Indiana in public television since it’s inception. The first on the air and again the first to transmit in high definition. Vincennes PBS’ HD production facilities are second to none in Indiana.
Our Mission Statement
Vincennes PBS, Vincennes University Broadcasting, the only local television provider in the community, actively engages the community through creative content and services that respond to local needs and interests. Vincennes PBS educates, informs, enlightens and entertains through local, regional and national programming that addresses local issues. Original programming, that includes a major commitment to news, strives to emphasize current issues. Vincennes PBS is also used as a training ground for future broadcasters.
