The Knox County Public Library continues to sign local kids up for free books.

As featured on the latest First City Focus – Library officials are promoting the free registration for Knox County kids to join Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, thanks to state funding, as well as additional support from Centerpoint Energy.

Library Director Emily Bunyan says this program comes from Dolly”s mission to ensure every child can enjoy reading.

Dolly’s Imagination Library is available to every child within that age range who resides in Knox County, no matter of family income. Through state funding, Knox and other counties, including at least Gibson, Vigo and Vanderburgh Counties are also participating in the program.
