police-lights-2-2

Emergency personnel were called to two separate accidents Friday morning.

The first happened at 6th and State Street in Vincennes a little before 6:30-am.

Witnesses told First City News that four vehicles were involved.

Traffic on the busy street during the busy time of morning had to find alternate routes as 6th Street was closed for about an hour.

The street was totally reopened around 7:40-am.

It’s believed there were no serious injuries.

Not long after that accident scene was cleaned up, police and fire departments were called out to another accident 7 blocks away.

A pickup truck struck a house at the corner of 13th and State Street around 7:50-am.

There were no injuries in that incident.

Investigations into the crashes continue.
