Vincennes Police and other emergency services were called to the area of Bowman Terrace housing complex around 1:15pm.

They say two suspects only identified as juveniles were allegedly involved.

During the ordeal, Tecumseh Harrison Elementary School was put on a soft lockdown that ended before school was out and the children were released as usual and on schedule without incident.

The lockdown was said to be only a precautionary measure and no students were in danger at any time.

The incident is still under investigation.
