Upcoming maintenance projects at  Knox County Library property have taken another step forward.

At Tuesday’s Library Board Meeting, the board gave approval for architect Larry Donovan to seek bids to replace the existing siding at the McGrady-Brockman House with aluminum or vinyl siding. The building is located on North 7th Street.

In addition he will solicit bids for interior work to repair windows at the library’s meeting house located on North 6th Street.

The Vincennes Historic Review Board gave approval for the work at both locations back on March 6th.

It was announced at the meeting that the library will be closed this Friday for an I-T infrastructure upgrade to utilize the new 10-G fiber option internet access at the main library.
