April is National Autism Acceptance Month.
It was previously known as Autism Awareness Month but in 2021 the designation was changed.
The acceptance of those with autism is something that one Vincennes University student with autism has been working toward since 2019.

Mitchell, is a broadcasting student at VU but before college he started a website and podcast called Autism Rocks and Rolls.
He uses the platform to entertain and inform people about himself and others on the autism spectrum….
Mitchell’s Autism Rocks and Rolls Corporation is a non profit and will be holding their 3rd annual Gala on April 27th in Bloomington which is open to the public.
The event helps raise funds for the organization.
