A Flood Warning is in effect at the White River at Petersburg and Hazelton.

The National Weather Service says rainfall over the last few days totaling one to 2 inches along the lower White will cause minor flooding from this evening into early Saturday morning.

This morning the river at Petersburg was at 16 feet at Hazelton the level was at 15.6 feet.  Flood stage is 16 feet at both locations.

The river will continue to rise another foot to 18 inches over the next few days.
