The seventh annual Rainbow Over the Bridge Festival will take place this Saturday, June 21, from 4 to 10 p.m. at the French Commons in Vincennes.  That’s a new location for yearly Pride festival.

Organized by the Wabash Valley Progressives, the festival is free and aimed at creating a welcoming, supportive and safe space.

“This year we’ve got upcycled event T-shirts for $10, a bonfire, and a lot of fun stuff,” said organizer Jen Holscher. “It’s going to be a day of festivities, and it’s just a really great group of volunteers that put this on.”

The schedule includes live music from Josh Solomon and local band Buck Rogers Clark, children’s activities, vendors, food trucks, and more.

The event will be held at the rear stage area of the French Commons, located behind the George Rogers Clark Memorial. Parking is available via Willow Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and sunscreen.
