It’s Day 1 of the Knox County Fair.

This morning’s scheduled 4H activities including a poultry and rabbit show at 8 and 9 a.m. respectively and a horse and pony show at 4 this afternoon.

The event at the Vincennes University Pavilion is the Little Mr. and Miss Contest at 5:30 followed by the Miss Knox County Fair Queen contest at 7 p.m.

Nine contestents are in this year’s pageant and they are  Jayna Althoff, Lauren Candler, Morgan Carter, Samantha Ferguson, Taylor Hammelman, Kadie Lafferty, Natalee Rickard, Emma Stine, and Iva Summers.

The grandstand event this evening is the tractor pull at 5:30 followed by a truck pull.
