The 2025 Cal Ripken 10-Year-Old World Series is set to take place in Vincennes from August 8th through 16th, bringing 24 youth baseball teams from across the country and around the world.
It marks the eighth time the Vincennes Cub League has hosted the prestigious tournament. Games will be held at Joe Bilskie Sr. Field and Earl Lawson Field.
To welcome the players, coaches, and families, a free community kickoff event is planned for Friday, August 8th, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Patrick Henry Square in downtown Vincennes. The celebration will include food vendors, drinks, live music, and opening ceremonies.
Vincennes City Council members and Mayor Joe Yochum are encouraging the public to attend the event—even if they’re not directly involved with the World Series—as a way to show support and hospitality to visiting teams and guests.
