Three were jailed in Gibson County overnight.

Authorities say that at just before 1 a.m. Central Time, deputies and officers arrived at the M&M Trailer Court in Patoka to serve a warrant on 25-year-old Colton Linxwiler for failure to return to lawful detention.

Deputy Eric Powell with the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office said he smelled burnt marijuana while speaking with another man at the residence, 52-year-old Jason Thomas. During a search, Linxwiler reportedly tried to flee out the back door but was quickly caught.

A drug investigation followed, resulting in the arrests of Thomas and 41-year-old Josie Lewis. All three were booked into the Gibson County Detention Center.

Linxwiler faces charges of failure to return to lawful detention and resisting law enforcement. Thomas and Lewis are both charged with possession of meth, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Princeton Police Department both assisted in the case. All individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
