WIN Energy REMC lineworkers tested their skills at the Indiana Electric Cooperative Lineman Rodeo, held August 21 and 22 in Danville. The two-day event showcased safety and technical training through competitions like pole climbing, hurt man rescue, and hardware changeouts.

Thirty-five teams and 131 individuals from 26 Indiana electric cooperatives participated. WIN Energy REMC was represented by Andrew Cross, Alex Schnepper, Drew Walden, Jacob Werner, Chance Kelley, Jesse Morin, and Mike Harmon.

A team from the Princeton office consisting of Walden, Schnepper and Werner placed third in the transformer changeout competition and finished fourth overall.
