The Vincennes City Council has reorganized for 2024.

At the first meeting of the new year on Monday, District 1 Council member Brian Grove was chosen as the new council President.

He was nominated to the position by Councilman Mark McNeece and then was unanimously elected to the position.

Grove told the council he is open to constructive criticism and wants to make sure things are done right.

Meanwhile District 5 Council member Ryan Lough was elected City Council Vice President for 2024.
