Monday is Martin Luther King Day and free admission is being offered at the Indiana State Museum and State Historic Sites.

There will be no cost to visit nearly all 12 locations across the state including the Vincennes State Historic Sites as well as Angel Mounds in Evansville.

The locations will be open from 10 to 5 on Monday.

Officials say it’s a way to honor King’s life and legacy through a day of celebration and reflection with the community.
