Community organizations are encouraged to take advantage of a new grant opportunity.

The Knox Life Community Improvement Team has announced their Community Investment Initiative.

Non-profits, non governmental agencies and community groups are eligible.

In addition, individuals and unincorporated groups can apply by partnering with a host organization willing to sponsor a project.

Up to 50% of a project cost, or $2500,  whichever is is less can be requested and funds are issued on a reimbursement basis and receipts are required.

There is specific criteria required to be eligible for the grants which are meant to help fund projects that will improve quality of life, increase community capacity, foster relationships with local organizations and build collective efforts for improvement.
