It’s been almost six weeks since a woman was killed in a hit and run north of Vincennes.

Back on December 14th, The Knox County Sheriff’s Department responded to to US 41 and Camp Arthur Road where 28-year-old Madison K. Johnson’s body had been found in the median just after 8am.

Sheriff Doug Vantlin said Johnson had been struck by a vehicle which had left the scene.

On Tuesday the department put out a call to the public for additional information on the incident.
