A Washington man accused of Murder is scheduled to go to trial in June.

An initial hearing was held Monday in Daviess County for Abel Dubon Castillo.

He was arrested on Sunday after being released from an Indianapolis hospital.

He is accused in the February 7th shooting at a McCormick Avenue home in Washington in which one person was killed and two others were injured.

Castillo was also injured but not by law enforcement and was taken to an Indianapolis where police maintained a 24 hour watch until they could take him into custody.

The court on Monday officially charged Castillo with Murder and 2 counts of Attempted Murder as well as Burglary and Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon.

A pre-trial conference was set for March 12th while a jury trial is scheduled for June 18th.
