The city of Vincennes continues the process to get a skate park renovated.

One bid was received for the work at Lester Square Park.

That bid was opened at Monday’s Vincennes Board of Public Works and Safety meeting and it was from Hunger Skate Parks in Bloomington.

The bid was for $450,000 and was taken under advisement.

It was previously reported that over the past few years the city has managed to save $350,000 to pay for a renovation.

More more money was raised last year through a crowdfunding campaign.

A decision on the bid will be made at a later date.
