If you or a family member have been treated at Good Samaritan,  you could serve on their Patient and Family Engagement Council (PFEC).

It’s purpose is to to promote a patient and family-centered care culture while supporting the hospital’s mission, vision, and values.

It’s  venue for patients, families and hospital staff to to work together developing solutions to positively influence the patient and family health care experience.

Any community member who has been treated or has a family member who has been treated at the hospital can serve and it’s open to residents from Knox, Daviess, Pike, martin, Green, Sullivan, and Gibson Counties in Indiana as well as Crawford, Lawrence, Richland, and Wabash counties in Illinois.

Council members can bring questions or concerns they hear in the community and then get those questions answered by hospital administration and organizational leaders.

The council meets on the first Thursday of each month and 3pm.
