Banners with military vet photos will again be displayed in Vincennes this year.

The Francis Vigo Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution are taking applications for the 30″x 60″ military banners through April 3rd.

Submitted photos can be no smaller than 5″x 7″ and it cannot be a group or digital photo and must include a veteran in uniform.

The banners will be put on light poles on Main, 2nd and Hart Streets in the days surrounding Memorial Day, the 4th of July and Veterans Day.

Banners are on a first come first serve basis and there is a limited number.

The cost is $60.

Applications are at the Knox County Library, the Knox County Veteran’s Office and the Vincennes Mayor’s Office.
