cut-and-sew

KCARC  officially marks it’s recent expansion today.

KCARC is a non profit providing support for people with disabilities in Knox County.

They do that in part with their wood and cut and sew manufacturing facilities.

It was in May of 2023 when KCARC announced the expansion of their cut and sew plant into the commercial world.

A project to triple their workspace was completed late last summer.

Keith Peacock is the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations at KCARC and on a recent episode of First City Focus on Vincennes PBS,  Talked about what’s been happening at the plant….

The plant also will continue to produce clothing and gear for government agencies and troop support.

KCARC invites the public to tour their operation at 3-pm today at an open house and ribbon cutting.

The plant is located at 2525 north 6th in Vincennes.
