The Consul-General of Japan in Chicago made a stop in Vincennes this week.

CEO of Knox County Indiana Economic Development, Chris Pfaff says he and local elected officials first met Jun Yanagi   during a trip to Japan with Governor Eric Holcomb last September….

Pfaff says they also attended an event in French Lick on Tuesday with the Consul -General.

Pfaff reminded us that when it comes to foreign direct investment, Japan is the number one investor in the US and Indiana

He says because of these engagements, the area is seeing a lot more attention from Japan which could lead to future investments in the region.
