The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is releasing three bald eagles back into the wild after taking care of them.

The DNR says that as bald eagle populations climb, so do incidents of needed care.

One of the three eagles being cared for includes a  juvenile eagle found malnourished in Daviess County near Alfordsville on Monday.

It was transported for care by District 7 Conservation Officers

It was being cared for one of the DNR’s dedicated and experienced Federal wildlife rehabilitators.

This eagle and the others are getting released back into the wild.
