Up to four inches of rain fell in the region on Monday and Tuesday.

The recent rainfall has prompted river flood warnings for the region.

The National Weather Service says minor flooding is expected  but isolated moderate flooding is possible.

The White River at Edwardsport is forecast to crest this Saturday at 20 ft which is 5 feet above flood stage.

At Petersburg the White will crest at 20.2 feet by early Monday.  That’s over 4 feet above flood stage.

That’s 5 feet above flood stage.

The Wabash at Vincennes will crest on April 10th at just under the 16 foot flood stage.

The Embarras at Lawrenceville will crest at the 30 ft. flood stage this Friday.
