The Indiana Department of Transportation announces road work in Pike and Greene Counties.

Daily closures of a state highway in Pike County were set to start this week.

Crews were scheduled to begin paving and milling on State Road 257 between State Roads 64 and 356.

One lane would be closed during the work from 6 am to 8-pm daily with flaggers controlling traffic.

Weather will determine the daily work schedule.

State Road 59 in Greene County will be closed starting Monday, April 15th

The highway is being shut down between Greene County Roads 545-North and 500- North for crews to work on a small structure pipe lining project.

The work will take one week.

The official detour utilizes State Roads 67, 157 and 48.
