There were no injuries in a large fire in Daviess County Tuesday night. It happened at 50-East and John Street in Plainville and involved an oil facility.

Some residents in the area were evacuated as multiple fire departments responded and worked quickly to prevent further spread of the blaze. Additional firefighters had to be called to battle the flames and the fire was under control by 8:25 p.m.

A cause is still being determined.
